From the experience of two girl’s groups The Apollas (Warner Bros) and The Blackberries (A & M), Billie Barnum started her career touring with Nat King Cole and later, with Tom Jones, Pink Floyd, Neil Diamond, Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Barbara Streisand, U-2 and many more. Not only has she been on TV shows including The Academy Awards and Johnny Carson, but this 2010 recipient of the Society of Singers VOICE award has also been on various soundtracks including Hercules and Waiting To Exhale.

With over 40 years in the business, Pattie Brooks first appeared on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour television series backing guests like Harry Belafonte and Bobby Darin.  After touring the country with Henry Mancini’s Young Generation as a singer/dancer, Pattie’s career led to performing on such shows as The Pearl Bailey Show, Soul Train, and American Bandstand as well as on the big screen, doing vocal over-dubs and briefly appearing in the movie Cleopatra Jones. For a full biography, please visit www.pattiebrooks.biz

I have come to understand that my purpose in music is not to sell myself as an entertainer.  The Great American Song Book as well as literally thousands of other songs and musical compositions existing today can convey true therapy for the human soul and the human condition.  Those messages, delivered aesthetically on the carrier wave of melodies bring about a more harmonious existence, greater mental and spiritual health and just plain raw emotion; which may have been obscured or buried for life times.

Paulnack states, “If there is a future of peace for human kind, if there is to be an understanding of how these invisible internal things should fit together, I expect it will come from the artists, because that’s what we do.”  And that’s what I do!
